Chocolate, date & ginger energy balls

Makes 8 – 10
Ingredients:
50g soft dried apricots
100g soft dried dates
50g cranberries
2 tsp coconut oil (olive oil may be used instead)
3 tbsp. cocoa powder
2 tsp. dried ginger
2 tbsp. toasted sesame seed
Method:
Put apricots, dates, cranberries, cocoa powder, coconut oil and dried ginger in a food processor and whizz until very finely chopped.
Take a tablespoon of the mixture, roll into a ball and coat in sesame seeds
Shape the mix into walnut-sized balls and roll in sesame seeds.
Refrigerate for a firmer texture
Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days
Great for preventing nausea, improving circulation, clearing sinuses and it’s has anti-inflammatory properties; ginger really is a great food to include in your diet. (Apparently, it’s an aphrodisiac too!)
